These terms of services apply to all services provided by Maxwells drycleaners.

Definitions

In these terms of service the following definitions apply:

GST:

Goods and Services Tax.

We:

Maxwells Drycleaning

You:

Customers using the services of Maxwells Drycleaning

Customer:

You, or any other person who uses our services

Services:

Covers all services provided by Maxwells Drycleaning including laundry, drycleaning, pressing, ironing etc.

Collection of items:

Any items not collected within three months of being dropped off may be disposed of. We will not be held liable for any loss due to non-collection within this time.

Care labels:

Protecting your item during treatment is our top priority and we follow the care label instructions on each item we process. We exercise utmost care in processing articles and follow the process according to the manufacturing care labeling guide. Nevertheless we cannot assume responsibility due to misleading care labeling guides by the manufacturer or defects in materials that are not readily apparent prior to processing.This applies particularly but not exclusively suede,leathers,silks,satins,linen,cotton,double faced fabrics,vinyls, polyurethanes etc. We accept no liability for damage to accessories such as beads, buttons and any damage to hems or trims that are excluded in the care label. We accept no liability if a care label is missing from your item.

Damage during treatment:

We use industry standard processes best suited to the nature and condition of each item. We do not guarantee against colour loss, colour bleeding, shrinkage, damage to a fabric due to manufacturer’s fault or manufacturer/designer using the wrong care label guide. No claims for damages will be accepted after 48 hours after collection of your item. Customer claim, concerns and refunds All of our Dry Cleaning and Laundry Services are carried out with the utmost skill and care and in accordance with the garments care labels . If you are unhappy with a particular service and we invite you to contact our store manager to discuss your concerns,which we try to actively resolve.All customer concerns are addressed in accordance with the consumer guarantee act.

Refunds:

All customer concerns, including refunds are addressed in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act. consumer_guarantees_act

Currency:

All billing is performed in New Zealand Dollars.
